After much persuasion and pressure from the White House, the former marine has been released from a Russian prison.... Paul Whelan's face looked white and expression less, as if someone had robbed it all from him. That is exactly what will happen to someone who has been deprived of social contact, light and air for a long time.  An American citizen, Whelan was put into solitary confinement in Russia. He was recently released and could finally speak to him family. The whole month he was not allowed to shower or exercise. When he spoke, he was bound to sound weary, but has not lost his mind. Speaking to the media his brother David Whelan said, till date he or his brother does not know charges for which he was put into solitary confinement.   Trump's era of stupid leadership is over as Presidential briefing comes to Biden  The White House has finally conceded defeat- it has allowed Joe Biden to take on the role of the more promising president that Trump has ever been. According to a White House official, the elect president will now start receiving the President’s official briefing. It has been three weeks since Biden was elected as the next president of United States along with Kamala Harris on the helm as the Vice President. The man is plausibly flawed and that makes him relatable with many Americans.  The daily briefings have still not started but the coordination for them is currently underway.  The good news is that this shows that finally the era of bad leadership has left the US, as Donald Trump actually took a long time to accept his defeat to Biden. Senate non willingness to get witnesses over a fair trail might delay the impeachment proceedings People have mixed reactions over Trump's impeachment The impeachment proceedings of the US President Donald Trump has hit a roadblock in the absence of witnesses and some bit on non-clarity over rules. While the House voted last week in favour of the Impeachment, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, she would be withholding the articles to the Republican-controlled Senate before the year-end break unless she had clarity over the rules and witnesses to appear at the trial. Apparently, both houses of Congress are on recess while Trump is in Florida till the year end.   However, lawmakers are positive that the congressional leaders will reach a deal and be able to send the two articles to the Senate soon.
