King Charles III Has A Lot Going For Him After The Queen’s Departure
A woman’s rule was as tough, but the man behind him might make some more hard pressing decisions to get his position back to where it has come
Whether he has trained himself to take on these tasks, one can’t say. But the new roles are a lot for the new King Charles III as he took on the reigns from the departed Queen and also had his love on his side.
Princess Diana was
killed or murdered; a mystery that has never been solved. But she was definitely
not the love of his life. For the new king, it’s a lot of issues to take care
of while he has his madam luck on his side. Rogue royals are one of them to
handle.
Up until now, he
has been known for his playful manners- the nods and winks during formal
proceedings to the outburst which are quite pronounced over things as simple as
faulty pens.
But he will be
pushed into handling pressing issues sooner than later. What will work on his
side is his learnings of ‘never complain, never explain.’
Indeed, the King
has his ways and should be let to handle things the way monarchy handles it
well. The King here is being seen to favour some causes over the others. Climate
change is definitely one of them. Religion is going to be something where he
speaks about diversity. That is going to be a welcome change from the strict Queen’s
adherence to the Anglican Church.
But the
heartfelt speech he made the day after his mother’s death appears to have moved
the dial, suggesting he would continue the queen’s conscientious manner of
ruling and know his constitutional place.
Before then, the king will consider what to do
with Prince Andrew, who caused great harm to the family with the US court case
that involved allegations of an under-age liaison with Virginia Giuffre and an
alleged £12 million ($13.5m) settlement.
King Charles may
well decide to “take a view” when Harry’s book expose of royal life is
published at some point next year.
He has a huge
inheritance and lot of houses to handle. He enjoys his Clarence House, but will
have to manage the others, judicially ofcourse. Prince Andrew and Harry off their
titles, could mean some money saved.
He is going to be
hard on those that give negative publicity to the royalty- that remains undeniable.
It will be King Charles’s decision on whether he continues to bankroll his
immediate family as his mother did. Changes will inevitably lead to friction.
